NC State College of Education

What is the Beginning Teacher Institute?

The NC State Beginning Teacher Institute is a FREE program targeted to support first, second and third year teachers with organizing, planning, implementing, and analyzing instruction for student achievement. This program is intended to provide on-time support as needs arise in a teacher’s first years.

The components of the institute include a summer institute and access to participate in an online community of new teachers. Teachers who attend the entire institute will also earn CEUs.

BTI is on hiatus for Summer 2020. Check back for information for 2021!
