Graduate School Offerings

Courses

The Graduate School at NC State also offers a wide range of professional development programming.

Check out their workshop events and series. You can also sign up for their newsletter to stay up-to-date on new offerings.

CCEE offers courses on research writing and professional communication to support our students' development of these essential professional skills.

CE 610: Advanced Communication for Engineering Research is designed for doctoral students pursuing careers in academia/research. It is offered every fall and spring on campus. You must be in at least the second year of your PhD program and have a writing project to work on to receive instructor permission to enroll.

CE 550: Professional Engineering Communication is designed for master's students pursuing careers in industry. It is offered online in the summer through Engineering Online and in-person during fall and spring, with an EOL section for distance students.
