Currituck 4-H Electric Workshop
The electric program is one of many science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) focused programs offered through 4-H. There are several up-coming opportunities for students ages 11 and up to become involved in the Currituck 4-H electric program. The first workshop in this series will be held on October 8th from 9am to 1pm. Participants will learn the basics of using a soldering iron. The second workshop will be on December 3rd from 9am to 4pm. This workshop will teach youth about kinetic and potential energy and take a field trip to Albemarle Lanes in Elizabeth City, NC. The final workshop will be held on December 21st from 9am- 2pm. This session is designed to continue the study of kinetic and potential energy with hands on activities like building a mousetrap car.
To register your child for one or more of these exciting classes.The cost for these classes are $8 per session. Registration will be complete and your space reserved when fees are received.
