Extension Mobility User Guide

Note: You must have this feature enabled to use it. To learn how, please refer to the Overview of Phone Services and Features article.

Set Your PIN

1. Log into the myphone Self Care Portal with your Unity ID and password.
2. Click General Settings > Phone Services PIN and set the following values:
   
   1. New PIN:
   2. Confirm PIN: 

Note: Finesse/Call Center customers should use their agent extension as the PIN. 

Login with Extension Mobility on a 7800 series IP Phone

1. Press the Applications button (button with gear icon) 
2. Select Extension Mobility or press the number key corresponding to it.
3. Enter your Unity ID in the User ID field.
4. Enter your PIN, then press the softkey under Submit.

1. Press the Applications button (button with gear icon) 
2. Select Extension Mobility or press the number key corresponding to it.
3. Press the softkey under Yes at the Logout <your unityID> screen.
4. Press the softkey under Exit.

Login with Extension Mobility on an 8800 series IP Phone

1. Press the Applications button (button with gear icon) 
2. Select Extension Mobility or press the number key corresponding to it.
3. Enter your Unity ID in the User ID field.
4. Enter your PIN, then press the softkey under Submit.

1. Press the Applications button (button with gear icon) 
2. Select Extension Mobility or press the number key corresponding to it.
3. Press the softkey under Yes at the Logout <your Unity ID> screen.
4. Press the softkey under Exit.

Login with Extension Mobility on a 6900 series IP Phone

1. Press the Settings key and arrow down to Extension Mobility, then press the Select button. If you do not see this option, it has not been enabled - see note at the top.
2. Enter your Unity ID in the User ID field.
3. Enter your PIN and then press the Submit softkey. You may need to arrow down to see the PIN option. 

Logout of Extension Mobility on a 6900 series IP Phone

1. Press the Settings key and arrow down to Extension Mobility, then press the Select button.
2. Choose Logout, then press the Select button.
3. Confirm that you wish to Logout.

Login with Extension Mobility on a 7900 series IP Phone

1. Press the Services button and arrow down to Extension Mobility, then press the Select softkey. If you do not see this option, it has not been enabled - see note at the top.
2. Enter your Unity ID in the User ID field.
3. Enter your PIN and then press the Submit softkey.

1. Press the Services button and arrow down to Extension Mobility, then press the Select softkey.
2. Choose Logout.
3. Confirm that you wish to Logout.
