The Food Animal Innnovation Summit brings together industry and academic leaders in food animal production. This year's Summit will focus on sustainable protein production and is offered in conjunction with the NCSU Animal Health and Nutrition Consortium Conference.

In 2023, the FAI Summit will be offered in conjunction with Emerging Research Showcase: Animal Health and Well Being on Sept 26th, 3 to 6pm. Developed by the College of Ag and Life Sciences at NCSU, the ERS Showcase will feature industry investors as well as research briefs from faculty in CALS. Participants must register for events separately.

Registration for the Summit is $350 for all three days and includes the Scoops and Sips reception at the NCSU Lake Wheeler Field Lab Future Farm. Discounts are available to NCSU Faculty/Staff ($150), Students ($50), and producers ($50).

Graduate Student Paper Contest

Graduate students are invited to present their research in a poster contest during the 2023 FAI Summit. Thanks to sponsorship from Zoetis, the top students will win a cah prize! Click the link above for more details.

Emerging Research Showcase:

Animal Health and Well Being

Sept 26, 3-6pm

This Emerging Research Showcase will feature the latest research on animal health, including experts on species from aquaculture to poultry, swine, and ruminants. This event will allow participants from academia and industry to discuss partnership and philanthropic opportunities in various areas of animal health.

The Animal Health and Nutrition Consortium is a public/private partnership that promote innovation and advances in production and companion animal health and welfare, with a special focus on gut health, nutrition, using precision technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI) big data analytics.
