Kick off your holiday season with some delicious fun and friendly competition. Enter NC Cooperative Extension's first ever Gingerbread House Contest which will be held in conjunction with the annual Currituck County Tree lighting and Parade on December 7th. Gather your friends, your family, or just yourself, and sign up for the Gingerbread House Contest.

Gingerbread house must be at the Extension Office (120 Community way, Barco NC 27917) by 5:30 pm on December 7th. We will not be taking houses prior to December 7th. Houses will be on display at the Currituck County Tree lighting for judging. Spectators will be allowed to vote for a People's Choice Award. Winners will be announced prior to the parade at 7:00 pm that night and house should be picked up by at the conclusion of the parade,
