Jenkins MBA Global Education Experience

As mentioned by Isabella in our welcome video above, please click the following link to get a better idea how past global experiences have impacted student leaders: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMRovpeh1yc&t=2s

Participating in global educational experiences helps business students develop into dynamic leaders who understand different countries, cultures and business practices, allowing them to be better leaders in their careers. We’re raising funds to alleviate some of the financial barriers facing Jenkins MBA students who want to study abroad.

Your support of global experiences will allow our students to become more effective leaders who use diversity of thought to solve complex issues, have experience tackling international business challenges and are champions of change in foreign environments.

Budget Breakdown:

Total estimated cost of attendance: $7,740 (excluding application fees)

Costs unassociated with coursework: $2,265*

*This is an estimate for cost of flight, passport fees, meals and personal expenses.

What specific leadership learning would you be supporting by helping students fly to the Switzerland global experience?

This global experience will expose students to the wide range of mega-trend emerging challenges likely to impact the ongoing sustainability and resiliency of all types of organizations over the near-term and long-term horizons and it will highlight several key Swiss-based organizations that play a role in global leadership to deal with those challenges.

What skills will students develop in Paris's international setting?

The global experience in Paris will include the fundamentals of negotiation, distributive negotiations, integrative negotiations, multi-party negotiations, cognitive tactics, and emotional tactics as well as international cultural topics. Students will participate in one-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-many party negotiations with the complexity of negotiations increasing as the course progresses. Given the international setting of this course, many of the negotiation scenarios will focus on international issues.
