About the project
Cultivating a Revolution: Science, Technology and Change in North Carolina Agriculture, 1950-1979 was a two-year, grant funded project to digitize films, correspondence, research notes, and other archival records pertaining to the modernization of agriculture throughout North Carolina. The project aims to provide researchers with primary source documentation and related historical information regarding the evolution of modern agricultural practices in North Carolina and the role North Carolina State University faculty and students played in the modernization.
Funding
This project was partially supported with federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds made possible through a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the Department of Cultural Resources.
