PLANT SWAP!
Tuesday, September 24, 2019, 5-7 p.m., at the Steele Street Park on Hitchcock Creek.
What’s a plant swap? Where plant geeks get together and share plants, talk plants, and generally have a great time! Bring healthy, pest-free, labeled house plants, divided perennials, cool-season annuals, seeds, cuttings, etc. Also, gardening books, tools, yard art – things you may no longer love, but someone else might!
A few guidelines:
- The container the plant arrives in goes with the new owner along with the plant.
- When possible, label the plant/seeds with the name of the plant, with care guidance if possible (ie., prefers sun/shade, etc.)
- Make sure plants are pest-free.
- Remember this is a fun event: don’t be greedy, take only your fair share.
