4H Goal Setting 2020

4-H Project Record Book is a scrapbook highlighting you! At the beginning of the year, you will select a topic or topics you are interested in learning more about. Contact your local 4-H agent to collect resources such as a curriculum, project record book guide, and assistance during the process. Throughout the year, you will make notes in your project record book, capture photos of you learning in the area(s) you selected, and add them to the project record book to submit for judging. You will receive Scotland County 4-H Bucks which can be used to pay for trips. Topics may range in the areas of animals to arts and gardening to mechanical.

4-H Portfolio is a combination of an area you selected to learn about but highlights your learning over a period of three or more years.

4-H Presentations are a huge part of North Carolina 4-H. It is one of the most successful way to help a young person learn how to do a public speech. It focuses on members teaching others what they know about a particular project/subject matter. They are sometimes called demonstrations or illustrated talk or a formal speech.
