Collapse ▲Insects, diseases, and weeds are problems that all gardeners must manage whether in the vegetable or ornamental garden. Often these problems appear at the same times each year so you can plan for and manage them before they get out of control.
Join Horticulture Extension Agent, Debbie Dillion, to learn about some of the most common insects, diseases, and weeds and how you can manage them using integrated pest management techniques such as cultural, mechanical, biological and chemical controls.
Two identical sessions of this class are available to fit your schedule:
Tuesday March 23, 2021 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. REGISTER
Wednesday March 24, 2021 10 a.m. – Noon REGISTER
Each class costs $8 per person or if you sign up for all 7 classes, cost is $40. Registration and fee is required by March 16, 2021. Select a date and click on the REGISTER link above. Payment must be made at the Union County Extension Office, 3230 Presson Rd, Monroe, NC 28112.
All classes will be held virtually using Zoom. Once you are registered the Zoom link will be sent to you on Monday prior to the class.
