Surveys

FROST:

The NC Wine Growers Association is taking a survey April 15 & 16’s, 2020 Frost impact. They are asking for information to share with the industry and will not name any specific winery or vineyard. Please email April2020FrostSurvey@gmail.com with the following information:

  • County and/or Town you grow in.
  • Percent of loss to which cultivar.
  • Your low temperature recorded.

ECONOMY:

Please take the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Agritourism Economic Impact Survey by April 23. 

NC State Extension and Economy:

Please take our NC State Horticulture survey. It will take 5 minutes and will help us to shape our COVID-19 response. All information will be handled confidentially. Thank you!

NEW: Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP)

On Friday, the USDA has announced the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP). This program has about $ 2.1b in direct assistance to specialty crop farmers in the USA, if you have experience loss due to COVID-19. We recommend highly that you monitor and record your losses on a weekly basis!

  • North Carolina (10:35 a.m. EST): 6,764 positive/ 179 deaths
  • USA: (8:38 p.m. EST): 784,599 positive/ 42,138 deaths
  • World (8:38 p.m. EST): 2,473,209 positive/ 170,042 deaths
