Contact Barbara Shew (barbara_shew@ncsu.edu) if you want to be included on the leaf spot advisory mailing list. Sclerotinia advisories will begin later this month. The following is an example of the advisory.

Begin sprays by R3 or July 10, whichever comes first, regardless of advisory. There is little to no data supporting the need for North Carolina growers to start spraying earlier than R3 in well-rotated fields, but some growers may feel more comfortable starting their spray programs sooner. This has the potential to increase the total number of sprays needed because protection is necessary through early- to mid-September.

Information on how to use the peanut leaf spot advisory is posted at the NC State Extension Peanut Portal.
