Cross-Post Your Content Instead of Creating Multiple Versions

If you’re an agent that serves multiple counties or topics, chances are you’ve created a News post that you then wanted to include on all of them. Instead of creating multiple News posts that all include the same content for each individual county or topic site, consider creating one post, then cross-posting it to the remaining county or topic sites you serve. Not only does this save you time, but it also saves the EIT team time by having to potentially QA just one post. It also means only having to update one post if some of the information (like a link) needs to be changed.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Create a post in WordPress for one of your county or topic websites
  2. Before you Publish, find the “Cross-Post to These Sites” module in the right column
    Cross-post module
  3. Check the box next to all the county or topic sites you want to include the content on
  4. Click Publish

The News post should now be showing on all the county or topic sites that you’ve selected.
