We wanted to share an update with you as our building has been closed since March and that will be changing this month with modifications designed to maintain the COVID-19 protocols for public safety.
As Carteret Community College will offer face to face instruction starting August 17th our building will be open to students. As such, it will also be open to the public for only essential services, but on a limited basis. We will still be conducting the majority of daily operations and programming online for the safety of the public and our staff.
However, we ask that you contact us for an appointment for any face to face needs that you may need until safety protocols change. To see a staff directory, please click on the Agents name for an email and phone number. It is important to make an appointment as we have been asked by the university to work from home if possible so we will only have a skeleton staff in the office each day as needed. In the interest of safety scheduled meetings and workshops will be held online unless you are notified otherwise and we will not be accommodating meetings in our conference rooms.
If you do have to come in the building, we ask that you not visit if you feel ill or have a fever. Just as students are required, we ask that you wear a mask in the building, use hand sanitizer, social distance at least 6′ apart, and wash hands frequently.
Please  continue to visit our website and on Facebook N.C. Cooperative Extension – Carteret County CenterCarteret County 4-HCarteret Big Sweep for updates, information, workshops and programming as we continue to provide services and research-based information to the citizens of Carteret County. We appreciate your patience and continued support of Extension in all that we do.
