There are no effective and legal options to control eclipta escapes at this point in the season. In most instances the amount of eclipta in fields is not yield limiting and will have very little impact on digging efficiently. Some eclipta will produce viable seed and contribute to weed issues in the 2021 crop. However, for most crops rotated with peanuts the control options continue to be excellent. Glyphosate and glufosinate, for example, continue to control this weed very well.
