Logo States 4-H International Exchange Program

The 2021 NC 4-H Inbound Exchange this coming summer is set to take place July 24–August 18. NC will be hosting 10 delegates from Japan, plus one chaperone. This year, all delegates will be age 13 or older.
Host families will complete application, meet local 4-H agent/staff, register in 4-H Online (if not already), pass background checks, pass in-home visit (virtual), attend host family and host sibling orientations, and maintain communication with state coordinator and chaperone.
COVID-19 will still be a consideration, and host family orientations will cover that. There is also a chance that changing conditions in either Japan or the U.S. will require a change of plans.
