National Volunteer Week is the perfect time to celebrate the important work volunteers do in our communities. Across our state, over 3,000 Master Gardener volunteers work alongside and under the leadership of N.C. Cooperative Extension agents, teaching North Carolinians to cultivate healthy plants, landscapes, ecosystems, and communities through science-based education and outreach.
