4-H competitors from across the Nation traveled to Grand Island Nebraska the week of June 26-30 for the 4-H National Shooting Sports Championships!

After District and State competition, a National tryout, and months of practicing, NC had 31 4-H competitors representing our State the week of Nationals, 6 of whom from the Young Naturalist 4-H Club in Henderson County!

The week was filled with a mix of laughter, friendship, community, nervous anticipation, concentration, competitiveness and winnings!
Henderson County 4-H is proud of each of our competitors who  diligently practiced and made it to the National level of competition!
We are also proud to be apart of the second most decorated State at Nationals, North Carolina!
NC Shooting Sports
4-H Shooting Sports Nationals have three days of three different types of competition in their discipline that every competitor competes in. Awards are presented after each days competition as well as overall results the fourth day.
