As we begin to work back towards our normal fall routines of school and work, let us not forget the importance of putting ourselves first. It is so much harder to give to everyone else when we have not taken the time to care for ourselves. Luckily, N.C. Cooperative Extension has the tools to help you make yourself a priority again. Join us for this FREE virtual challenge where we will cover all of the things that keep us healthy and happy. And the best news is we can do it together!

This 5-week challenge will focus on five topics- making time for yourself, exercising, sleeping, gratitude, and a healthy diet. During this challenge, you will have 6 tasks to do every day. Each week you will receive an email containing a video expanding upon these tasks, a digital/printable log, and other useful resources to make taking care of yourself easy! Taking care of our bodies is the best insurance we have from getting sick.

And if that is not enough to inspire you to join we are giving stuff away each week. Also, did we mention it is free?

We start our challenge on September 13, 2021, so register today at https://fallselfcarechallenge.eventbrite.com. If you have any problems registering please feel free to call us at 252-232-2261, and we will walk you through the process. For more information or accommodations for persons with disabilities please contact the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Currituck County office at the number listed above no later than 10 business days prior to the event.
