National 4-H Week will take place from October 3 to October 9, 2021! To find a complete list of state events, see the NC 4-H website. As a county, we will be holding a poster contest! The theme is “What 4-H Means to Me” and you can submit entries through our online form by Wednesday, October 6! This contest is open to Surry County 4-H members ages 5-18. There are not any restrictions on what size the poster should be but all designs should be 4-H appropriate. This poster could even be done on construction or printer paper. Prizes will be given for 1st – 3rd place winners and there will be participation awards as well. We do plan to share these posters on Facebook and our website so all photos with 4-H’ers in them should have accepted the photo/media release forms. Pictures could also just show the poster itself. If you have any questions, please contact Bailey McGill.
