NC State Feed Mill and tent

Each year, the Carolina Feed Industry Association (CFIA) hosts a Feed Production Technology School at NC State University in Raleigh, NC. With hurricanes and COVID-19 causing the cancelation of the 2019 and 2020 events, we were pleased to help host the 2021 CFIA Feed Production Technology School on November 17 at the J. Edward Booth Field Learning Laboratory.

Presentations

This year’s schedule was jam-packed with presentations from academia, trade associations, and industry.

The morning started with an update on NC State’s Feed Milling and Animal Food Safety programs from Adam Fahrenholz, Associate Professor of Feed Milling and Marissa Cohen, Area Specialized Agent for Animal Food Safety. PDF versions of the NC State updates are available below.

  • Retaining and Hiring Good People and Good Truck Drivers
