Again this year, Shearer John Nelson from West Virginia will be traveling down to shear the county’s sheep/alpaca/goats. He will be alone again this year on Saturday, April 27th. Please let me know if you would like to get your animals sheared again this year.
Have sheep pinned in the dry with no feed hay or grass Friday evening. Water will be ok. Keep sheep dry. Piece of plywood to put sheep on; electricity available. Extra help to bring sheep to him/ remove shorn wool off of board.
Prices are the same as last year, $6 per head, $12 for mature rams and a $75 set up fee.
