MATERIALS

Sample boxes are not available by mail. Pick them up at your county’s Cooperative Extension office or the Agronomic Division office in Raleigh.

FEES

NCDA’s Sampling Fee

  • From November 30th, 2023 – March 31st, 2024 any samples received will need to include a $4 fee per sample box.
  • Starting April 1st, 2024 – November 29th, 2024 you can submit your soil sample(s) for FREEBe sure to drop your sample(s) off to us before November 30th to avoid the peak season fee of $4 per box!
  • Payment methods for NCDA Sampling Fee:
    • You can provide us with a check made out to NCDA.
    • NO CASH
    • Or if you’d rather pay NCDA directly online – when you fill out your Sample Information Sheet write “Invoice” and you will have to pay for your invoice online by credit card in order to view your Sample Results when they are ready.

Jones Extension Courier Fee

  • In addition to the fee sent to NCDA, our office charges a courier fee based on your sample’s weight. Our office does not keep change so please bring exact cash or check only. See the chart below for our current fees. (As of 12/14/2023)

RESULTS

Your results are sent to the email address you wrote down on your Sample Information Sheet.

Don’t have an email? No worries!  You can look up your Soil Sample Results online using your name and address!
