Images can simply be send via Twitter to @RecluseOrNot. The team will provide an expert answer on whether the spider tweeted is a recluse spider.
While the recluse does exists, it is noteworthy that it’s name reflects it habit. It hides and thus is not commonly found or seen. Most of what folks refer to as a “brown recluse” is actually NOT! Read more in the article, Two Cases of Recluse Spider Bites in NC
