Collapse ▲Blue Ridge Farm Direct Market Association (BRFDMA) will hold their second annual Agritourism Conference & Annual Business Meeting on Tuesday January 31 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event will be held at Blue Ridge Community College in the Technical Education & Development Building.
This meeting is a good lead in to Winter Apple School which will be held the next day at the same location. The conference is free to BRFDMA members and non-members can attend for $25. The meeting is co-sponsored by Henderson County Farm Bureau and Henderson County Cooperative Extension.
There is no pre-registration required so attendees can show up at the door and take in this informative and educational meeting. Jeff Crotts of Knob Creek Orchards in Lawndale, NC will be the featured speaker.
Other topics to be included are: 1) Crisis Communication; 2) Update on the NC Farms App; and 3) Color Psychology. Do not miss this local agritourism event. Agritourism is a large part of the Henderson County ag industry. This promises to be a great meeting for those interested in the agritourism industry.
