Forsyth County 4-H is selling blueberry plants via pre-orders now through March 1 for pick-up on Friday, March 17. You may pay via cash, check, or money order either in-person or via the U.S. mail made to Forsyth County 4-H, 1450 Fairchild Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105. If dropping your payment off in person at the Forsyth County Agricultural Building please come between 8:15 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. Cash (exact change only) or check are preferred, but it is important that receive your payment before March 1.Varieties include the Southern Highbush plant, O’Neal which is the earliest to ripen, Legacy which is a mid-season ripening/self-fertile blueberry, and the Rabbiteye variety Onlslow which is a mid to late season, large berry. All are suited for this area.

Plant Pick-Up is Friday, March 17 from 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. at the Forsyth County Ag Building. Plant sale pick-up will be drive-thru only. Please, do NOT get out of your vehicle.

NUT, CANDY, AND DRIED FRUIT SALE

Additionally, we have a virtual nut, candies, dried fruit, and trail mix fundraiser taking place! Visit the Forsyth 4-H Terrilynn page to place an order. Those orders will be shipped to the address that you enter on the order form and will NOT be available on March 17. Orders to each person ship FREE anywhere in the U.S. when the items for that address total $30 or more!

Funds raised from both fundraisers benefit the 4-H Scholarship Dollars program to assist youth with 4-H Project Work and to provide funds for them to attend 4-H Youth Development and Leadership events and 4-H Camp.
