Youth showing meat goat at Cleveland County FairThe Carolina Country Classic Goat Show will debut at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds in Shelby, NC during April 14-16, 2023.Organized by N.C. State Extension and a team of volunteers, the event will feature three (3) Boer Goat Shows sanctioned by the American Boer Goat Association (ABGA) and a Youth Meat Goat Show with classes for showmanship, meat goat kids, and commercial breeding does. Judges Terry Taylor, Anton Ward, and John Tart, III will officiate.

Boer Goat Show exhibitors are expected to comply with ABGA Sanctioned Show Rules.

Entries and payments can be made online until 11:59 p.m. on April 12, 2023. Late entries will be accepted until end of check-in but will be assessed a $10/head late entry fee.
