Have you ever thought about taking your gardening hobby to another level? If so, you should consider the Extension Master Gardener℠ Program here in Polk County!
The class will meet each Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. from August to November. You will learn all aspects of horticulture in both lecture and hands on labs. No prior experience is necessary! You will learn loads of practical information and skills as well as meet others in the community that have similar interests. Once you complete the class you will have the option to join our Master Gardener group and participate in many activities such as our research garden, landscape design/installs, nursery, propagation, as well as field trips. If you have an interest program, please contact the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Polk County Center to find out more information and to get an application. August will be here soon so register right away to ensure your spot in this wonderful course.
