TUFFTalks2017: Pursuit of Happiness will be held on MONDAY, MARCH 27th, 2017 at 5:30pm in Stewart Theatre in the Talley Student Union.

The theme - Pursuit of Happiness. We hope this theme invites a diverse collection of pitches and response to the central concept of pursuing happiness. Issues & Ideas recognizes the broadness of this theme, and invites all submissions to interpret this theme in any way you choose.

Speakers and pitches will be considered on the principles of authenticity, impact on the NC State community, and creativity. Again - do not assume anything about the "boundaries" of the theme selected for this TUFFTalks.

Some of the guidelines to keep in mind as you fill out this application and finish preparing your presentation are as follows:

- A TUFFtalk must be a reasonably timed presentation, but need not be determined exactly at this point for the purpose of this interest form. (Traditionally, presentations range from 4-15 minutes in length)
- TUFFtalks speakers will not be paid.
- Every TUFFtalk must comply with copyright laws and the speaker must notify the organizer if third-party material will be used in the presentation.
- TUFFtalks speakers may not try sell products, promote themselves, or promote their business in their presentation.

In addition to these rules, if selected, each TUFFtalk presenter must sign a TUFFtalk Speaker Release form allowing their presentation to be recorded, edited, and uploaded.
