Union County 4-H Broiler Chicken Project Orientation
This form is for registering for the Orientation for the Broiler Chicken Project. It will be held on May 18th from 6:30-7:30 at the Union County Ag Center- 3230 Presson Rd. Monroe, NC 28112.

Attending this orientation is required to participate in this project. We will go over how to care for the birds and discuss expectations for the project. At this meeting, you will submit a registration form and payment if you wish to participate. Chicks will be available for pick up on Friday, May 21st from 3-6 PM.
Attending the orientation does not automatically sign you up for the project. You can attend to learn more information before committing.

Project Details: Participants will raise meat chickens for 6 weeks, starting from day-old chicks until they are big enough for processing. Participants will keep detailed records for the project record book. The project will wrap up with a processing demo and the meat will be donated to the local food bank. This project is for youth ages 14-18.
