Sponsored by Vance County Farm Bureau, this lunch time celebration will feature a special presentation by Dr. Terri Long, Associate Professor of Plant and Microbial Biology at NC State University, and a member of the N.C. Plant Sciences Initiative which is bringing together the brightest minds to drive vital research that increases crop yields, creates new varieties, extends growing seasons, enhances agricultural and environmental sustainability, and produces new and improved technology.
