Online Training (for Ag. Ed. Teachers ONLY)

This training will be held on two different days, please select your ticket based on the day/time combo that works best for you:

  • January 23- 6-8 pm
  • January 30- 3-5 pm
  • *NEW* February 8- 6-8 pm

This FREE two hour Zoom training will cover the following:

BQA Certification Training Includes:

  • Beef Cattle Industry Update
  • BQA Guidelines
  • BQA Test (to be taken online during Zoom training)

BQA Trainer Training Includes:

  • Trainer Materials
  • How to train & certify students
  • Q&A

BQA Trainer Certification is good for two years and is free!

In-Person Training (Open to ALL)

This training will cover everything the online session includes plus hands-on cattle working. We will meet at the Upper Piedmont Research Station in Reidsville, NC and then work cattle at one of their nearby facilities.

Morning Location Change: We will start at the Rockingham Center, N.C. Cooperative Extension for the classroom session due to the higher number of attendees. Address: 525 NC-65, Reidsville, NC 27320 , please come to the smaller meeting room upon arrival on the Extension side of the building.
