New York, New York! Currituck County 4-H is sponsoring our 5th annual bus trip to New York City, New York on December 13th and 14th, 2019. Proceeds from the trip will directly support Currituck County youth as they participate in County, State, and National level leadership, citizenship, STEM and achievement programs.

The bus will leave from the Currituck County Center of NC Cooperative Extension at 120 Community Way in Barco, NC at 10:30 pm on Friday, December 13th and arrive in New York City on Saturday morning, December 14th by 8:00 am. You will then have a full day on your own to enjoy shopping, feasting, sightseeing, museums, and shows. Become part of the hustle and bustle of Times Square, ice skate in Central Park, take in the sights from the top of the Empire State Building, or sing along live to your favorite musical. The fun and possibilities are endless! The bus will depart New York City at 8:30 pm Saturday evening for the return journey back to Currituck County, arriving back at the Currituck County Center around 4:00 am on Sunday, December 15th. Tickets for this fun-filled excursion are only $115.00 per person so don’t wait! Tickets are limited so get yours today!

Tickets can be purchased with cash/check at the NC Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center or online with PayPal (link below). Please list names of all passengers in the notes section. All participants must complete and submit a “Trip Waiver” by December 9th 2019. Waivers can be found here or picked up at the Currituck Extension Center. All purchases are final. For more information or assistance with ticket purchases, please contact the 4-H Staff at 252-232-2262.

4-H is North Carolina’s largest youth development organization, equipping more than 263,000 young people each year with the skills to succeed and improve the world around them. 4-H programs and camps encourage young people to “learn by doing,” helping them to develop into active, contributing citizens. NC State Extension and the Cooperative Extension Program at N.C. A&T State University coordinate 4-H programs statewide.
