Used Fuel Community Workshop - dialogue/feedback on the future of spent nuclear fuel in the US
Join us for a face-to-face Community Listening Session, where we'll engage in open dialogue about the future of used nuclear fuel in the US!

NC State's Department of Nuclear Engineering is inviting you to participate in a workshop on interim spent nuclear fuel storage. This event will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Marmalade branch of the Salt Lake City Public Library from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (free lunch is included) and is focused on obtaining public perceptions, opinions and feedback on the topic of interim spent nuclear fuel storage.

This interactive workshop will include personal testimonials from our partner organizations Mothers for Nuclear and the Tribal Consent-Based Council as well as round table opportunities for the public to share individual comments and offer suggestions. Please feel free to share this with any individuals or groups you think may have interest in this topic.

As we will be providing lunch and refreshments, we request registration by 06/3/2024 to ensure sufficient quantities. Register below!
