Caswell & Person/Granville County Cooperative Extension Offices along with NC State University, are partnering to bring producers a cattle reproduction workshop. The workshop will be held on May 23rd from 9am-5pm and May 24th from 8:30am-12:00pm.

Topics for the day will include:

Establishing a breeding season

Estrus Synchronization

Pregnancy checking via palpation, ultrasounds and blood tests

Culling & animal selection

AI vs natural breeding

along with hands-on practice with reproductive tracts and live animals!


Registration Cost is $20 per person. Registration covers your lunch for both days along with a few learning materials. Payment for registration can be submitted to the Caswell County Extension Office and can be made with cash or check. If paying by check, please make checks payable to Caswell County. Payment can be mailed to Caswell County Extension Office, attention Bailee Perkins at PO Box 220 Yanceyville, NC 27379.


After Registration is Complete you will receive an email from Bailee Perkins with a google form for lunch both days.

****IMPORTANT**** You have 15 days to submit your payment after you complete your registration. IF you fail to submit your payment, your ticket for the event will be released, and the next person in line for that county will be able to register.


Also: If you have traveled outside the COUNTRY in the last 30 days or plan to travel outside the country before the workshop, you will not be allowed to participate in the workshop for biosecurity reasons.
