Collapse ▲Each year, the North Carolina Extension & Community Association (NCECA) announces its district scholarships. High school seniors, full-time college students, and adults wanting to attend college are eligible. The applicants must be North Carolina residents planning to attend an NC accredited college, community college or technical institute in the fall of the year applied.
For the 2023 scholarship year, Skylar Dudley, a Craven County youth, won the Southeast District Scholarship! Ms. Dudley recently graduated from high school and will be attending North Carolina State University in the fall. Ms. Dudley’s intended major is animal sciences and she hopes to become an Extension Livestock Agent or a Livestock Nutritionist! Through an internship with Jones and Craven County N.C. Cooperative Extension Offices, Ms. Dudley stated, “I am so thankful for the impact that North Carolina Cooperative Extension has had in my life.”
