NC State Extension has offered a complimentary branded Columbia shirt to all new Extension employees since 2017. To better facilitate the purchasing of these shirts for new employees moving forward, Extension administration has implemented a more efficient and streamlined process.

Background Refresher

New Extension employees are able to receive one (1) branded Extension shirt at no cost to them or their county / department. They may select a Columbia model of their choosing from the inventory in our Extension online store.

What’s New?

Shirt purchases by or for new Extension employees can now be made using a local PCard. Afterward, just upload a new authorization letter from administration, along with a copy of the receipt, during the normal PCard reconciliation process.

CALS Business Operations will take it from there and ensure that the funds come from the appropriate administration account — not local budgets. That’s it!

N.C. Cooperative Extension branded Columbia shirt

NC State Extension administration will cover the cost of one Extension-branded Columbia shirt for new employees. Visit Extension’s online store info page for full details.
