Collapse ▲EFNEP staff have been busy filming and creating a new EFNEP Impacts video in Spanish over the past few months! There are several bilingual EFNEP Educators who teach EFNEP classes to the Spanish-speaking EFNEP-eligible population in North Carolina and are making real impacts in their lives. EFNEP Educator, Patty Saltpaw, invited a participant from her Middle School Parent group in Johnston County to be interviewed for the new video. The participant shared how the EFNEP classes motivated her to cook healthier meals at home that she and her children enjoy. She also mentioned how the classes encouraged her to become physically active by making small changes in her busy life.
Patty was also interviewed for the video to gather her input on how EFNEP is making impacts in her community. Check out some behind-the-scenes pictures of Patty; Federico Planchon, Technology and Participant Outreach Extension Assistant; and Tyreik K. Kearse, Public Communications Specialist for NC A&T, filming for the new success story video. Not pictured is the participant mentioned so be on the lookout for the new EFNEP Success Story video in Spanish to hear her story!
