Registration Deadline is Tuesday, October 30, 2023, by 5 p.m. Online pre-registration is required.
Entries should be submitted at the Harnett County Agricultural Center between November 1, 2023, and November 3, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entry tags will be located at the front desk.
Entries will be displayed during the Harnett County Ag Day on November 11 and possibly during other Farm City Week events during the week of November 11-16.
Entries will be released at the Harnett County Agricultural Center between November 13, 2023, and November 15, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entries remaining after this date will be discarded.
Competition is open to registered Harnett County 4-H Members only.
Youth who are ages 5 to 7 as of January 1, 2023 will receive a Cloverbud Ribbon for entries in the Cloverbud age division. Entries in the youth age division will receive a ribbon for 1st-3rd place.
Each exhibitor may only enter once per class.
Articles must have been made by 4-H members currently enrolled in 4-H.
The same product may not be shared for entry by more than one individual. Violators will be disqualified.
If a date appears on an item, it must fall between November 1, 2022, and October 31, 2023.
Only articles made since the 2022 Farm City Week will be accepted.
Articles considered not worthy will not be exhibited.
The Harnett County 4-H does not permit anything controversial to be entered. This includes any symbolizing cruelty, weaponry, or of a sexual nature.
10 X 13 is a general size limit unless the item can be folded.
The point system used for judging in each class aids the judges in selecting winners but is not the sole factor in the awarding of ribbons and placements.
