This year’s Albemarle Area Landscape School will be held on Feb. 9th, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Pasquotank County Center at 1209 McPherson St., Elizabeth City. N.C. Landscape Contractors will receive 2B and 2L credits, and N.C. Pesticide Applicators will receive 2 hrs of N, L, D, & X credits. A detailed schedule of the presentations can be found below.
8:00 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. Registration
8:15 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Weed Identification, Grace Atkins and Ted Manzer
9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Pesticide Handling & Safety, Chris Hassel
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. 811: Landscape Worker Safety Pertaining to Underground Utilities
11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Managing Warm Season Turf, Grady Miller
11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Warm Season Turf Diseases, Lee Butler
12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Sponsored Lunch
This year’s school is free however, registration is required through our Eventbrite.
