Join the Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteers of Caldwell County for a dynamic community outreach event! This event is part of the Learn. Grow. Share. series that will be held out at Unity Park and Community Garden throughout the gardening season.

This outreach event is on Friday, April 26th from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. We’ll celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day with gardening-themed topics, aiming to engage the community through hands-on activities.

One of the many Unity Park and Community Garden displays includes the native pollinator garden!

These activities include gardening techniques, a tree-planting demonstration, and a garden tour of our native pollinator plants. We will also dive into topics that include raised bed gardening, and composting, and we will have a kid-friendly seed-sowing activity.

Each family will leave with a FREE, native tree to plant at their homes.

The Learn. Grow. Share. series aims to promote community outreach by bringing people together to explore the wonders of gardening. With research-based insights, educational programs, and engaging outreach initiatives, our goal is to empower North Carolinians to cultivate healthy plants, landscapes, ecosystems, and communities.

Let’s cultivate a greener, healthier future together!

Don’t forget to bring your friends and family to share in this FREE, special event. We hope to see you out there!
