October 5 Thursday 6-8 PM, Bonnie B. Davis Environment and Agriculture Center, 1020 US-70 W, Suite # 130, Hillsborough, NC 27278. (Across from the Hillsborough DMV)

This meeting is primarily for Landowners that have forested area that may need prescribed fire (Rx) to reduce the amount of fuel on the ground, mitigate wildfire hazards, increase wildlife habitat, and protect the environment. However, this meeting is opened to the public and landownership is not a requirement.

If the meeting space gets full, landowners will have priority for seating.

This form is designed to register interested persons that want to attend a Prescribed Fire in the Environment.

We will use emails to keep you updated on this and future Prescribed Fire events.

Guest speakers- Jennifer Fawcett, Extension Associate & SERPPAS Prescribed Fire Workgroup Coordinator; Jessie Wimberley, Sandhills Prescribed Burn Association (PBA) Coordinator; Elliot Nauert, Extension Associate Forestry&Environmental Resources. Plus OC Forestry Service and Colby Lambert, Extension Forestry Area Agent will be available to answer questions.
