2024 Spring Craft & More Fling
Hosted by Swain County Agricultural Fair, this second annual Spring Craft & More Fling will take place on May 11, 2024 from 10AM- 4PM at Riverfront Park (101 Mitchell Street, Bryson City, NC). If you would like to set up as a vendor at this year's Spring Craft & More Fling, fill out the form below. Crafters, Non-Profits, Antique Sellers, & Independent Sales Consultants are all welcome. Deadline for registration is May 2.

Event Policy and Procedures:
  1. Application AND Payment must be received by Thursday, May 2, 2024
  2. Vendor Fee of $35 and/or additional Electric Hook-up Fee of $10 can be made payable to: Swain County Agricultural Fair, Attn: Melissa Vaughn, 60 Almond School Road, Bryson City, NC 28713
  3. Cancellation policy: if you are accepted, then you must cancel by 4pm on May 2 ($35 Vendor Fee and/or Electric Hook-up Fee of $10 is non-refundable)
  4. Saturday Booth set-up begins at 8am and must be completed by 10am (May 11)
  5. Anyone arriving after 10am Saturday will be denied
  6. All booths must remain open until the end of the event at 4pm on May 11
  7. Gate closes at 6pm, booths must be taken down and moved by this time.
  8. This event will go on rain or shine (IN CASE OF RAIN event will be moved to the Great Smoky Mountains Event Center at 1130 Hyatt Creek Road, Bryson City, NC)
  9. Applicant must be present in booth throughout event
  10. A limited number of electrical hook-ups are available (first come first serve), otherwise bring your own generator if needed.
  11. Provide a trash can for waste generated by your booth, there will be a dumpster on site
  12. Tables, Chairs, and Tents are not provided – please bring your own (this is an outside event)
  13. Tents must be freestanding and anchored with weights
  14. Crafter, antique sellers, and independent sales consultants are welcome
  15. Also, non-profits such as youth organizations, church groups, etc. are welcome. Items sold can include handcrafted items, flowers and baked goods. For baked goods, contact Swain County Health Department for questions and/or permit, if needed. 
  16. The Swain County Agricultural Fair Committee reserves the right to refuse ANY application according to the wishes of the committee
  17. All applicants/products must follow event policies
  18. No applicant will be accepted without meeting all above requirements
  19. Approved vendors must present confirmation certificate to event organizer before setting up booth.

The undersigned agrees that payment must be received by the Swain County Cooperative Extension Center by May 2, 2024 to be considered as a Spring Craft & More Fling vendor. The undersigned agrees that if accepted to participate, he or she will comply with all policies, procedures and regulations included in this application, and agrees to be bound to and comply with all Swain County Agricultural Fair documents. The undersigned understands that Swain County Agricultural Fair Committee is responsible for making final decisions regarding the event operation and agrees to abide by their decisions. It is further agreed that the undersigned releases the Swain County Agricultural Committee, Swain County, and any representatives of these groups from any responsibility for theft, damage, or loss.
