Lift As You Climb (LAYC) Fund - Application for a Fee Waiver for the NC State University School of Social Work Graduate Program - MSW Program

The purpose of this fund is to provide fee waiver stipend support for students applying to the MSW Program at North Carolina State University.

***Please note that you MUST complete the Formal application for Graduate Enrollment at NC State University- https://applygrad.ncsu.edu/apply/. Please note the **priority deadline* for the MSW Program is January 5, 2024.

It is known that application fees can serve as a barrier of access to graduate school education. In the spirit of accessibility and inclusion, this program was established during the Fall of 2023 by Dr. Yarneccia D. Dyson (Executive Director & Head of the School of Social Work) in efforts of increasing the opportunity to pursue graduate degrees by students who may experience hardships and other structural barriers.

The LAYC Fund has limited resources, therefore, applications are reviewed on a case by case scenario. Applicants will receive a decision within 2 weeks of completing their application (completing this form).
