  • We will be looking at classes of animals and discussing what to look for, and how to assist youth in determining differences.

8:00 am What does it take to Show?

  • Circuits, County Shows, State Fair
  • Update on the NC State Fair (What is the process)

9:00 am How to prepare a sheep/goat for a show

  • This will be a hands-on session where we will go over all steps needed to prepare an animal. This includes choosing the right clippers, blades, shampoo, what to do after they are sheared or clipped.

11:00 am Feed & Nutrition for show animals
