Zeis Textiles Extension (ZTE) manages space reservations for the Wilson College of Textiles. The Textiles Complex has space for meetings, conferences, staff training, receptions and more including the W. Duke Kimbrell Atrium, the Convocation Center, the ZTE classroom and the ZTE break room.

To get started, read the information under the tabs "Rental Spaces" and "Rules" and then submit a "Reservation Form". 

ZTE staff will contact you regarding availability within 5 business days. Contact zteregistrations@ncsu.edu for questions.

Textiles Complex Regular Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

If you require access outside regular hours, you must make special arrangements with ZTE staff and you may incur additional fees.

For events scheduled on Saturday or Sunday, add a $100 surcharge to the rental fees.

Reservation requests must be submitted 7 business days in advance. Larger scale events require 21 days lead time.

The Wilson College of Textiles reserves the right to replace or "bump" a non-textile event until if a Textile group needs the space. In the extreme case that bumping is necessary, notice will be given as soon as possible. Other events that may result in bumping are events called by a high-ranking university, state or federal government official. This may occur with less than one month's notice.  

Wilson College of Textiles - any officially recognized group or event initiated by a current faculty or staff member within the Wilson College of Textiles where a faculty or staff member of the Wilson College of Textiles is the main contact person. This contact person assumes all responsibility for the group or event.

NC State (non-Textiles) - any officially recognized group or event-based in one of the academic colleges, various NC State departments or administrative units of NC State University where an NC State faculty or staff member is the main contact person. This contact person assumes all responsibility for the group or event. NC State (non-Textiles) includes Centennial Campus Partners in the partner category of Corporate, Non-Profit or Incubator.  For Centennial Campus Partners in the category of Government (any/all), see Sharon Wright. Note: Spaces are available to NC State non-Textiles groups anytime (including weekends or before 7:30 a.m. or after 5 p.m. Monday-Friday) with a Wilson College of Textiles faculty or staff sponsor. The sponsor must be physically present for the full duration of the event in order to unlock and lock the building. 

The event sponsor is responsible for catering, parking permits, room set-up, ensuring room capacity is not exceeded, operation of AV equipment, adherence to space rental rules and alcohol service regulation, room clean-up, and returning the room to its original set up. Additional fees may be assessed for room damage, excessive post-event clean-up required, etc.

For events scheduled on Saturday or Sunday, add a $100 surcharge to the rental fees.

Rental fees include rental of the space only.
